View of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party crossing high dunes in Liwa oasis. The party, made up of tribesmen of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin, rides camels along the side of a dune slope dotted with small tufts of vegetation. Baggage camels follow along behind their mounts. At the far right, a man fixes baggage on a couched camel. In the far left distance, a man, likely a local villager, walks a camel and a small black goat towards distant dunes ahead of Wilfred Thesiger's party.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
