Description

View of Wilfred Thesiger's party trekking through Al Khatam sands south of Al Ain, on their journey towards Al Humrah sands. In the foreground a bare tree sits in the sand. Further beyond, one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions walks across low rolling dunes followed by his camel. Ahead of him another member of the party rides his camel into the distance, followed by a baggage camel. In the far distance low rolling dunes stretch out across the horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
