Description
View of a Qara cattle camp in the downs below Kismim Pass in the Jabal Qara mountains. In the near distance people from one of the Qara tribes stand at cattle camp in large field. The camp is made up of small domed thatched shelters ringed by a living fence. Further beyond rolling downs stretch across the background into the far distance.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
