Description
Portrait of Salim bin Tamtaim, a leader in Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, standing with two Harasis Bedouin men at Boi well. Salim bin Tamtaim, a sheikh of the Bayt Ghuwas lineage of Bayt Kathir Bedouin, stands in the middle, while the two Harasis tribesmen stand on either side of him.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
