Description
Full length standing portrait of Salim bin Kabina, one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions, standing on a rock outcrop in Ras Al Khaimah Emirate. Salim bin Kabina, a tribesman of the Bayt Imani lineage of the Rashid Bedouin, stands on a jagged rock outcrop. He wears a khanjar (dagger) with a cartridge belt and suspenders over his thobe (long shirt), and his long hair hangs down on his shoulders.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
