Portrait of an African slave boy on Shindagha beach in Dubai. A boy wearing a light coloured thobe (shirt) and a ghutra (headscarf) leans on his elbows on the gunwale of a small wooden boat beached on the shore. Behind him a tide line of seaweed lies in the sand.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
