Description
View of a date palm grove at a salt flat (sabkha) in Liwa oasis. In the foreground a number of young date palms have been planted in rows in an area of open sand. In the distance beyond an established grove of date palms grows. Some salt bushes grow scattered in the sands between the palms.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
