Description

View of Wilfred Thesiger's party trekking through Al Khatam sands south of Al Ain, on their journey towards Al Humrah sands. In the left foreground one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions walks past a bare tree sits in the sand, holding a camel's neck rope. Further beyond, two men lead camels up the slope of a low dune on foot. Further along another man rides his camel into the distance. In the far background low rolling dunes stretch out across the horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
