Members of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party standing with Bedouin at Tawi Harian well in the Sharqiyah Sands. On the left a woman in a dark abaya walks past the well. At the centre two children sit in front of the well. Salim bin Kabina, a tribesman of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin, stands in front of the left side of the well, leaning on the arm of the frame erected around the well. Another man stands on the right side of the well. At the far right a little boy stands with a donkey.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
