View of a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party trekking across dunes in Al Khatam or Al Humrah sands south of Al Ain. On the far left a Bedouin man (likely Muhammad bin Al Jabari, a tribesman of the Awamir Bedouin), leads two camels across an expanse of sand dotted with scattered vegetation, heading towards the right. In the background rolling sand dunes rise along the horizon below a cloudless sky.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
