Description

View of Wilfred Thesiger's party travelling in the Al Khatam sands south of Al Ain, during their journey towards Al Humrah sands. Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions walk their camels in a line down the slope of a low sand dune, heading from the right to the left. In left background another sand dune dotted with tufts of vegetation sits at the bottom of the dune slope, while in the far distance beyond low rolling dunes stretch out uninterrupted into the far horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
