Description

View of the Shindagha district from the Bur Dubai side of Dubai Creek. In the right foreground the stern of a small boat is beached in the sand. In the central distance beyond another small boat is beached on piles in the sand. To the right a number of men stand on the shore, in front of a large beached dhow (sailboat). In the left distance piles of coral, used for building houses, lie on the shore. In the far background more dhows are moored on the shore alongside one and two storey houses in the Shindagha district.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
