Description

View of Wilfred Thesiger's party at camp under a Baina tree in the plains below Hamrat ad Duru, during the party's journey from Masruq well to Al Hubi village. In the near central distance four of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions sit together in the sand. On the left a large Baina tree grows, and beneath it equipment is piled in the sand. On the far left a fifth member of the party sits beside the tree. In the background two large trees grow in the far distance on the vast flat plain dotted with vegetation.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
