Description
View of 'arish huts next to Al Fahidi fort in the Bastakiya quarter of old Dubai. In the foreground 'arish huts made of palm fronds sit in fenced enclosures in an expanse of bare flat sand. Behind the houses sits Al Fahidi fort, a square stone and coral fort that has a high round watchtower topped with a flagpole on its near corner. A pair of square two storey buildings sit inside the fort. The walls of the rightmost tower are incomplete, and a ruined wall lies outside the fort on the right.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
