Portrait of a peregrine falcon (shahin) with its prey, a MacQueen's Bustard (houbara), in the sands surrounding Al Ain. A peregrine falcon, belonging to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's hunting party, wrestles with its quarry, a MacQueen's Bustard. The peregrine stands with its wings spread wide and its talons clasped on the back of the bustard. The bustard lies in the sand with its head up. Feathers and a few sprigs of dry grass lie in the sand.
