Description

He holds a rifle against his left shoulder. This image was taken during April 6-30, 1948, when Wilfred Thesiger stayed at Al Muwaiji fort in Al Ain as a guest of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
