Description
Half length portrait of an Arab man, one of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's falconers, carrying a falcon in the sands surrounding Al Ain. The man wears a patterned ghutra (headscarf) and a plain thobe (shirt), and stands holding the falcon on a mangalah (cuff) on his near hand. The falcon wears a burqa (hood), and is turned towards the falconer. In the background a large, spindly tree grows.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
