View of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party making camp in the Wadi al 'Ayn during their journey towards the Ramlat al Ghirbaniyat. In the near central distance three of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions unload two couched camels in the shelter of a few large bushes in the midst of a flat plain. All around the men piles of blankets, saddlery and equipment lie in the sand. In the far background more trees and small tufts of vegetation grow scattered across the plain, which stretches out to the far horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
