View of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party resting in the Ramlat ar Rabbad sands. In the foreground Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions relax in an area of flat sand. All around the men piles of baggage and equipment lie in the sand. In the distance beyond seven of the party's camels graze on vegetation scattered across the large dune that rises high in the background.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
