Description
View of a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party standing on a dune in the sands north of Al Ain during the party's journey from Al Ain to Ramlat Unayq. An Arab man, one of Wilfred Thesiger's guides and a retainer to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, stands on a wind-rippled sand dune in the near distance. On the left a sand ridge rises along in the distance, and far beyond a steep faced rocky mountain rises above the flat in the far distance.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
