View of a badan, a small dhow (sailboat) beached on Shindagha beach in Dubai. The badan is beached in the sand with its bow pointing towards ocean on the left. Stick-like oars are tied to its gunwales. In the far right distance a cluster of 'arish huts, made from palm fronds, sit close together on the shore in front of the more substantial coral houses of the Shindagha district.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
