Description

View of sand dunes in Al Khatam sands south of Al Ain, taken during Wilfred Thesiger's journey towards Al Humrah sands. In the foreground a bush grows beside a small ridge on the side of a sand dune. Just beyond the dune's crest rises steeply from the left foreground up towards the right foreground. In the distance beyond low rolling dunes stretch out towards the horizon below a vast cloudless sky.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
