Description
Standing three-quarter length portrait of Muhammad bin Al Jabari, one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin guides, in the Wadi al 'Ayn. Muhammad bin Al Jabari, a tribesman of the Awamir Bedouin, stands in the foreground holding a length of rope. He wears a light thobe (shirt) topped with a cartridge belt and dagger. In the distance behind him two trees grow.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
