Standing full length portrait of a young man in a market (suq) in Manama on Bahrain Island. In the foreground a young man stands in a patch of shade in front of a market stall. He wears a ghutra (headscarf) tied loosely around his head and a light-coloured thobe (long shirt). Behind him a man walks down an aisle lined with market stalls and stacked merchandise.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
