Description
Portrait of a peregrine falcon (shahin) with its prey, a MacQueen's Bustard (houbara), in the sands surrounding Al Ain. In the foreground a peregrine falcon, which belongs to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's hunting party, plucks at a dead MacQueen's Bustard lying on the ground. Around it feathers lie on the sandy ground.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
