View of tufts of vegetation growing in sand at Al Kharbah, a caravan halting place in the lower Wadi 'Aydim. In the foreground clumps of vegetation grow out of the sand. In the background a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party stands with his camel. This vegetation is the result of recent rain.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
