View of Wilfred Thesiger's party trekking through sands north of Al Ain oasis during their journey from Al Ain to Ramlat Unayq. A large dry bush grows out of sand in the left foreground. On the right six men from Wilfred Thesiger's party ride their camels across a wide expanse of sand. Tufts of vegetation and small shrubs grow on the uneven ground. In the far distance a steep faced rocky mountain rises above the flat.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
