Portrait of Sultan bin Ahmad, a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, posing above the Wadi 'Aydim. Sultan bin Ahmad, a tribesman of the Sh'asha lineage of Bayt Kathir Bedouin, stands on rock strewn hillside. He is holding a rifle. In the distance beyond Wadi 'Aydim stretches out behind him.
