Description
View of Musallim bin Al Kamam, a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, riding a camel in Al Humrah sands during the party's journey to Umm az Zumul. In the foreground Musallim bin Al Kamam, a sheikh of the Musaifar lineage of Rashid Bedouin, rides his camel across a dune rippled with waves of secondary dunes. He holds a camel stick in one hand and balances in a kneeling position. In the distance beyond, low rolling downs stretch out to the far horizon beneath a cloudless sky.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
