View of limestone cliffs atop Jebel Hafeet [Jabal Hafit] mountain. In the foreground a steep wall of limestone slopes from a low area at the bottom left to a high ridge at the top right. In the distance beyond sparse vegetation grows on a vast flat plain. Wilfred Thesiger spent a week on Jebel Hafeet [Jabal Hafit] hunting Arabian Tahr [Hemitragus jayakari] with Arab and Bedouin guides in April 1948.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
