View of Wilfred Thesiger's party trekking across dunes in Al Humrah sands during their journey to Umm az Zumul. Four of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions trek in a line across a wind-rippled dune, heading from the left to the right. The two men at the front lead their camels on foot, while the man behind them rides. In the distance beyond a vast sabkha (salt flat) lies beyond rolling dunes.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
