Description
Seated profile portrait of a boy from one of the Qara tribes in Wadi Nihiz in the Jabal Qara mountains. A young boy sits in a field facing towards the left. His hair is shaved on the sides of his head, leaving a strip of curly hair in the middle of his head. This haircut is a sign that the boy has not yet been circumcised.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
