Description
Portrait of Wilfred Thesiger and Muhammad al Auf sitting side by side on a gravel plain in the region between Yisub well and Wadi Darbat. Muhammad al Auf, a tribesman of the Bayt Mbarik lineage of Rashid Bedouin, sits on the left holding a rifle. On the right Wilfred Thesiger is holding a camel stick and leans with one arm on his crouched knee.
