View of a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party in the desert near Umm az Zumul well. In the central distance one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions sits on his camel in a flat expanse of sand dotted with large bushes. A high, ridged dune rises behind him, beneath a cloudless sky.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
