Description

Portrait of two boys standing in front of a small dhow (sailboat) beached on Shindagha beach in Dubai. Two boys stand holding hands in front of a beached dhow in a state of disrepair, possibly a sambuk. The bow of the sambuk points towards ocean, which is on the left. A half oil drum and a piece of coral lie in the sand in front of the dhow, while in the distance a few more small boats are beached on the sand.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
