View of Wilfred Thesiger's party making camp under ghaf trees north of Al Ain oasis. In the foreground three of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling companions rest in the shade of a tall ghaf tree [Prosopis cineraria]. Two of the men stand, while the third man sits in the shade beside large piles of gear. In the distance beyond a camel grazes in a field of grass, and bushes grow on a far hill.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
