Description
View of a high dune in Al Batin sands in the Empty Quarter (Rub' al Khali). In the foreground a wind-rippled dune with slopes bare of vegetation rises to a point at the right. A lone bush grows near the top of its right slope. In the distance behind, a higher dune juts out above, its face in shadow. In the background at the left, more wind-rippled dunes fill the horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
