View of desert landscape in the region of Umm az Zumul well, taken by Wilfred Thesiger during his party's journey to Wadi al 'Ayn. In the right foreground a small tree grows on a wind-rippled dune. In the left distance two more trees grow between rolling sands dotted with small tufts of vegetation, which rise to a dune crest in the far background.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
