Description

View of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions and Wahiba Bedouin at Buraymah well in the Wadi Halfayn. On the far left Hamad, a tribesman of the Mahra Bedouin, stands with his back to the foreground, his body turned to the left. To his right a few men of the Wahiba Bedouin haul water from a well. In the right background a boy of the Wahiba Bedouin stands with a flock of sheep. In the distance beyond a vast flat plain of sand is bordered by a line of trees in the far background.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
