Description

View of an abra (ferry boat) preparing to dock at the side of Dubai Creek. In the right foreground an abra (ferry) loaded with passengers rows towards the creek side. Two thick ropes run from the shore in front of the boat out to dhows (sailboats) moored in the creek behind. On the right many houses, some with wind towers (barjeel), sit along the creek.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
