Description

Seated profile portrait of Awad bin Khazai, a sheikh of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin and a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, in the region between Wadi Rahnah and Al Maghar well. Awad bin Khazai kneels on the ground facing to the left. He holds a rifle in one hand.
