View of a member of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party with a camel at the southern end of Jabal Hafit (Jebel Hafeet), near Al Qabil. In the near distance one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions adjusts the saddle on a camel couched on rocky ground. Behind him small shrubs grow on a ridge of sand on the right. In the far distance the limestone cliffs of Jabal Hafit (Jebel Hafeet) rise in jagged peaks in the background.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
