Description
Full length portrait of Salim bin Kabina, one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin travelling companions, posing with his rifle during the party's journey from Wadi Animrit to the town of Al-Saum. Salim bin Kabina, part of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin, would become one of Wilfred Thesiger's most loyal travelling companions after this journey.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
