Portrait of Salim bin Tamtaim, a leader in Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, in the Jiddat al Harasis during the party's journey from Boi well to Yisub well. Salim bin Tamtaim, a sheikh of the Bayt Ghuwas lineage of Bayt Kathir Bedouin, stands holding a stick in his hand.
