View of Wilfred Thesiger's party trekking across dunes in Al Khatam or Al Humrah sands south of Al Ain. In the distance three of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions walk with their camels across an expanse of sand, heading towards a bare bush in the near foreground. The sands surrounding them are dotted with scattered vegetation, while in the far distance behind them rolling sand dunes rise along the horizon below a cloudless sky.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
