View of Wilfred Thesiger's party riding through the Al Qafa' or As Saruq region north of Liwa oasis. Two members of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party, tribesmen of the Bayt Imani lineage of Rashid Bedouin, ride along an interior ridge near the top of a large dune. The dune behind the men has a number of low ridges and large, circular-shaped sand hollows.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
