Description
View of the minaret of Al Fadhel Mosque in Manama on Bahrain Island. An expanse of flat sand, dotted with a few piles of coral, fills the foreground in front of the tall minaret of Al Fadhel Mosque. The minaret is decorated with geometric patterns made from coloured tiles. Buildings enclosed by high walls line the streets behind the minaret, and on the left a fence with steel grates runs along a road.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
