View of Wilfred Thesiger's party trekking across dunes in Al Khatam or Al Humrah sands south of Al Ain. In the distance five of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin companions ride across an expanse of sand, heading towards the foreground. Behind them a sloping sand dune, dotted with scattered vegetation, rises along the horizon below a cloudless sky.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
