View of Wilfred Thesiger's travelling party camping in Wadi Thu'ayt. In the foreground one of Wilfred Thesiger's Bedouin guides stands on the left. Nearby another man and a few camels wander across a vast dry wadi dotted with sparse bushes. In the central distance the party's equipment lies in the sand to the left of a large tree on which a few camels are grazing. In the far distance a low rock escarpment rises along the horizon.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
