Description

Full length portrait of a Duru woman and boy at a well north of Al Ain. A women and child stand in the sand beside a wooden post hung with sandals and blankets. The woman wears a burqa (mask) over her face and a black scarf over her upper body. She is holding the arm of the young boy standing in front of her. The woman and child were on their way to Dubai from Al Ain.

Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.
